Thanks for taking part in BioCraftEd Game Jam #1. By buying a ticket and joining, you agree to the terms below. Anything unclear? Email studio@biocrafted.xyz.

The event

  • Game Jam #1 runs Saturday 3 October 2026, 15:00โ€“21:00 (London time).
  • In-person tickets (ยฃ20) are hosted at BioCraftEd HQ, 33 Bayliss Heights, SE10 0GX, London.
  • Online tickets (ยฃ5) take part remotely โ€” you'll get a join link before kickoff.
  • A single theme word is announced at kickoff. Entries must follow the rules: pixel art, single-file HTML, built around the announced theme.

Eligibility

  • You must be 18 or older to take part.
  • In-person attendees must follow all venue rules and any instructions from BioCraftEd staff.

Tickets, payments & refunds

  • Tickets are sold securely through Stripe; the price is shown at checkout.
  • Tickets are non-refundable, except where required by law or if BioCraftEd cancels the event (see Changes & cancellation).
  • Your ticket is for you โ€” please don't resell or transfer it without asking us first.

Your entry & intellectual property

You keep full ownership of everything you make. It's your work.
  • By entering, you grant BioCraftEd a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to show, host, and share your entry to run and promote the jam and its results (for example on games.biocrafted.xyz and our channels), with credit to you.
  • You confirm your entry is your own original work and doesn't infringe anyone else's rights โ€” code, art, music, fonts, and so on. Use only assets you're allowed to use.

Code of Conduct

We want the jam to be welcoming, safe, and fun for everyone. By taking part you agree to:

  • Be respectful. No harassment, bullying, hate speech, or discrimination of any kind.
  • Keep it lawful and appropriate. No illegal, infringing, hateful, or sexually explicit content โ€” in your entry or your conduct.
  • Respect people and the space. Follow staff and venue instructions; look after the HQ and each other.
  • Play fair. Do your own work within the jam window; don't pass others' work off as your own.

Breaking the code of conduct may result in removal from the event (in person or online) and disqualification, without a refund. Serious or unlawful behaviour may be reported to the relevant authorities.

Health, safety & liability (in-person)

  • You attend the in-person event at your own risk โ€” please take care of yourself and others.
  • Bring your own equipment (laptop, charger) unless we tell you otherwise.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, BioCraftEd isn't liable for loss, damage, or injury except where caused by our negligence. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Changes & cancellation

We may need to change the schedule, format, or venue. If we make a significant change, or cancel the event, we'll let you know by email โ€” and where we cancel, we'll offer a refund.

Privacy

We use the email linked to your ticket and account to send you event information and updates about the jam. We won't sell your data. To ask about or delete your data, email studio@biocrafted.xyz.
